Call for student Journalists!
All students are invited to participate in the G20 Simulation Journalist Training Programme. In this programme, you will have an unique opportunity to get into roles of professional journalists and receive a hand-on job experience when working as part of G20 media facilitating team. Along with the project supervisor, you will work on the media coverage of the G20 Simulation Summit at EdUHK, which will take place on the 25th November, 2017. The programme is going to last from October to December 2017 and you shall participate in a series of workshops and tutorials which will prepare you to assume responsibilities of the event media team members.
During the training, you will have opportunity to report and produce your own multimedia stories as well as learn how to use social media for professional purposes. Your task will be to report on the events and discussion from G20 using Face Book, Twitter and Instagram, to write articles and summaries for the event Blog, and to conduct interviews with the Heads of State and Ministers of the event. You are going to discover and develop your creative writing potential, and most importantly, get a valuable work experience in organizing a significant media event.
You can apply until Monday, the 23rd of October by contacting Hanna at [email protected].
Should you have any enquiries, please e-mail Hanna at [email protected].
