What's the event all about?
The Education University of Hong Kong is happy to announce the launch of the first ever 2017 G20 simulation. This activity is aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the G20 Summit, international diplomacy, and globalization through a G20 Leaders’ Summit simulation.
Since 2008, the Group of Twenty (G20) has become an important annual forum for governments of leading global economies to gather and discuss the economic issues of the world. With the help of the Hong Kong-America Center, The Education University of Hong Kong has decided to organize the first G20 simulation to prepare students to be the future leaders in international affairs.
Our first G20 Summit simulation will take place on Saturday, November 25th, 2017 at the Education University of Hong Kong, Tai Po.
Participants will be required to research and negotiate on the issues of global affairs. During the simulation, students will be able to practice skills in negotiations, public speaking, and diplomacy. There will also be a panel of high-level speakers who are professionals in their fields of study.
